If you really think about it, is there anything more important to you than your family? We’re confident most will agree family is what really matters most. Because when all is said and done no possession, accomplishment, or ideology of man could ever successfully replace the divine institution of family as the fundamental unit of society. So then why wouldn’t we set aside one day each year to recognize and celebrate Family Day?
If you aren’t already spending quality time and connecting with your family on a regular basis, we encourage you to make a goal to start today. And then every year on the first Saturday in August, we invite you to celebrate Family Day as well.
Have some extra FUN together.
Family relationships are about love, support and happiness. So go make some fun memories.
AMEND a relationship.
Make an effort to say you’re sorry or extend forgiveness to someone who needs it. You’ll both feel better. And the world will be a better place for it as well.
Do something MORE.
The divine institution of family is being attacked on every side. And the world needs strong families. So, whether you do something big or something small, just do something. Any effort to promote and strengthen family does make a difference.
As you do this, we’re confident you and your family will be blessed. And the only thing that could make Family Day even better is if you shared Family Day with your extended family and friends by inviting them to do the same!
FamilyDay.org is a non-denominational, non-profit organization, originally founded in 2012 to promote an annual holiday to recognize, celebrate and promote the importance of traditional families. We believe a righteous family is the most fundamental unit for the successful development of individuals and for building strong communities. And so far the response to our cause has been positive and continues to grow every year.
Since our inception, we have realized we can do so much more every other day of the year as well. So, our mission has now expanded into efforts of year-around advocacy and service in hopes of defending and strengthening the divine institution of family and in promoting unity in communities.
We understand it’s not always possible to be all things to all people, and that not everyone will agree with our traditional family beliefs. And that’s okay. We believe all people are always entitled to respect and tolerance for their beliefs even when those beliefs might be contrary to our own. Ultimately, our goal is to still love all people and strengthen unity in all families and all communities. We are not an exclusive or “anti” group of mean bias and hate. Our motivation stems from our own sense of truth, love and hope for all people. So, in spite of any differences in philosophy or belief, we will always show kindness, respect and tolerance to everyone. All we ask is the same in return.
